Laborer/Flagger
The Laborer is responsible for assisting in the loading and unloading of vessels and the movement of various cargoes throughout the terminal. As a Laborer you would be responsible for the inspection of varies cables and rigging components of the equipment. Your work would also include working with different types of hand tools.
Leadman
The Leadman is responsible for the direct oversight of the movement of cargoes within their assigned hatch of the vessel and on the docks, reporting any issues that could affect the operation to the foreman. He/ She supervises laborers during loading and unloading operations. The Leadman maintains open communication with the foreman to ensure efficient operations.
Lift Operator
The lift driver will operate and maintain assigned equipment on/ in terminal, and warehouse performing tasks as required, while keeping an accurate log report and assisting crew with other duties. Responsible for the safe operation of assigned equipment (primarily forklifts, man lifts, loaders) in areas such as the dock, open storage yards and warehouse.
Foreman
The foreman is responsible for the direct oversight of the movement of cargoes within the terminal, reporting any issues that could affect the operation. The individual supervises the terminal clerks and labor during loading and unloading operations. The terminal foreman maintains open communication between all production managers, terminal manager clerks, and other terminal personnel.
Crane Operator / Ship’s Gear Operator
In the general cargo operation, the crane operator will operate and maintain assigned cranes and ship’s gear performing lifts as required while providing guidance to assigned gang in the terminal and on vessels/ barges.
Ship Superintendent / Production Manager
The Production Manager will manage his/ her crew(s) for ship loading/discharge. The Production Manager will be responsible for the transloading of Bulk, Break Bulk, General Cargoes, and Project loads.
Clerk/Clerk in Charge
The clerks are responsible for identifying, stowing and sorting cargo that is loaded or discharged from vessels into the terminal. Clerks will work with the Clerk-In-Charge to identify various cargoes and sort into proper areas. They are responsible for the documentation of the cargo, load lists, scanners and tally sheet completion for production reports.
Deckhand
Deckhand is responsible for assisting in preparing barges for the loading and/ or unloading of cargoes.
Equipment Operator
The Equipment Operator will operate and maintain assigned equipment performing tasks, such as the transportation of various cargoes, as required while assisting crew with other duties. Responsible for the safe operation of assigned equipment (Track hoe, front-end loader, bobcat, etc) in areas such as ship/ barge holds, deck, and dock areas while navigating around other equipment and personnel.
Oiler
The Oiler is responsible for ensuring proper lubrication and routine maintenance of all mobile equipment, machinery, and other equipment. Perform pre-job inspections of deck ensuring there are no hazards and oversees the process of drafting barges.
Crane Operator
The Crane Operator will operate and maintain assigned cranes. Performing lifts as required while providing guidance to the assigned crew of a midstream barge crane.
Production Manager
The Production Manager manages his/ her crews on assigned rigs.
Deckhand / Senior Deckhand
The Deckhand of the Mooring Division is responsible for the mooring and unmooring of seagoing vessels as well as equipment and mooring vehicle upkeep.
Boat Operator
The Boat Operator of the Mooring Division is responsible for the mooring and unmooring of seagoing vessels as well as launch operation and upkeep.
Leadman
The Leadman of the Mooring Division is responsible for the oversight of the linemen and gangs during daily mooring operations.
Electrician
The Electrician performs electrical installation and repair functions. Responsibilities include ensuring electrical programs, reports and measurements are met for the functions throughout all Associated Terminals locations and operations.
Welder
The Welder performs various types of welding, brazing, and cutting using gas and electric welding equipment in order to conduct maintenance, repair, and fabrication functions.
Mechanic
The Mechanic is responsible for the preventative maintenance and repair of heavy equipment and engines used throughout the operation. The mechanic troubleshoots, diagnoses, and corrects any deficiencies on company related equipment including but not limited to cranes, hydraulic systems, charging/ starting systems, mechanical gear drives, pneumatic controls, and diesel/gas/propane engines.
Rig Maintenance Specialist
The Rig Maintenance Specialist (RMS) will work jointly with the Crane Manager to ensure compliance with company’s Maintenance Management System (MMS) for assigned equipment.
Regional Technical Specialist
The Regional Technical Specialist (RTS) will work jointly with the Maintenance Manager, Rig Maintenance Specialists and Operations Management to ensure compliance with company’s Maintenance Management System (MMS) for assigned equipment and locations.
Equipment Operator (5 levels)
At his/ her assigned location, the Equipment Operator will operate and maintain assigned equipment performing tasks, such as the transportation of various cargoes, as required while assisting crew with other duties.
Control Room Operator
To ensure that cargo is transferred and processed safely, accurately, efficiently and per customer requirements. This process consists of preparation for loading and unloading various cargoes.
Welder
