Associated Terminals provides midstream operations within the jurisdiction of the Port of South Louisiana, the St. Bernard Port, and down south near Myrtle Grove, LA.
With 27 deepwater berths capable of facilitating ocean vessel transloading on the Lower Mississippi – plus additional on-site locations – Associated Terminals offers customers optimum options to fit their specific needs. We combine the best locations, the best equipment and the best personnel to get all jobs done safely and efficiently.
The majority of our cargo trans-loading activities take place at our midstream transfer facilities located between mile markers 158 and 56 A.H.P. Because we utilize systems that allow for the simultaneous two-sided discharge of deep draft ocean vessels, we can accomplish cargo transloading quickly and efficiently.
All our facilities are served by our fleet of fourteen modern, high capacity floating Gottwald cranes and other specialized equipment. This is the largest fleet of Gottwald floating harbor cranes in the world. We have made a tremendous investment to ensure that our customers are served by the latest equipment and technology available in our industry. It’s all part of our commitment to providing the highest quality services with a focus on efficiency and safety.
