ATSB Facility Reaches Milestone

Associated Terminals’ operations at the Port of St. Bernard have achieved a monumental benchmark. The entire facility, comprising 102 full time employees, working in multiple capacities and environments, recently surpassed the milestone of one year without an OSHA Recordable Incident. This goal encompassed over 355,000 man-hours, including all midstream operations, rail, general cargo, and maintenance crews.

Brett Schneider, Corporate Health, Safety and Environmental Manager stated, “It is through the hard work and determination of the men and women of ATSB that such a goal could be reached. I believe their drive for a safer workplace will lead to continued success in the future.”

This major accomplishment is a confirmation of the commitment and effort of the entire company. Organizational and personal accountability have allowed ATSB to reach this milestone and define a higher level of performance for future operations.

“This is extremely remarkable considering all of the dynamics involved to achieve such an accomplishment,” said Tony Collins, Vice President of Risk Management. “It truly shows the commitment of the entire company to the safety of our team members.”
