Leadership Forum Proves to be Huge Success
Associated Terminals recently completed its semi-annual leadership forum. During the two sessions, managers and supervisors from all locations received updates and current information regarding the company’s key performance initiatives. An afternoon team building question and answer session punctuated the successful event.
“These forums provide a great opportunity to come together outside of the workplace and discuss the current business environment in which we operate,” said Blake Hebert, Logistics Coordinator. “Open discussions allow us to coordinate our efforts and enhance our ability to work as a team.”
Operational, maintenance, financial, human resources and marketing information were shared along with an update on AT’s safety performance. Details relative to the company’s efforts during the recent economic challenges were also discussed. Those in attendance clearly appreciated the candid nature of the information provided as well as confirmation of the company’s commitment to its team.
Perry Becnel, Associated Grain Terminals Manager, stated, “The leadership conference was quite educational as a wide range of topics were discussed, including a brief history of our company and insight into our plans for the future. The leadership conference gave all managers and supervisors a chance to bring forth new practices and reinforce ideas that have been successful”.
